Kleppinger Design Group focuses on Kitchen & Bath design and supplying cabinetry. We work with a careful selection of manufacturers to offer the best product we can, at a number of different price points.

Design and cabinetry are our primary businesses. We offer installation on a case-by-case basis.

KDG can address your storage and design needs for just about any space in your house. Aside from the kitchens we have in our showroom, we also show vanities, a mud room, garden room, laundry room, wet and dry bars, closets, pantries, and desks. In fact, all of our workstations are cabinets provided by Crystal.

The best place to start is in our showroom. This is where your designer can show you around, explain the differences between the different cabinetry manufacturers, and let you see firsthand what is available. Your designer will also schedule a time to come to your house to take measurements and get a feel for the space. Drawings will be produced from this meeting and a price range will be established. While everyone is different, you’ll probably meet with your designer a few more times to fine-tune the design, budget, or both. Once your selections are made, and the design is finalized, we will place the order.

The design process can take anywhere from two weeks to a few months, depending on the scope of the project. Typically a design for a standard-size kitchen takes about a month between meetings at our showroom and visits to the job site. After the design is complete, the cabinets are built to order from our vendors. Lead times for cabinets are currently ranging from 12 weeks to 25 weeks. Installation times can vary depending on the size of the project, smaller kitchens could be installed in a week, and larger projects could take a month or more.

Throughout the design process, we will provide detailed drawings, including perspective views of your kitchen. While the drawings will not be 100% true to life, we aim to give you a realistic idea of what you can expect. We can also supply you with door samples and color chips from your selections.

We source our cabinetry from a number of different manufacturers.

Crystal Cabinetry is produced in Princeton, Missouri.

Koch Cabinetry is produced in Kansas and Tennessee. 

Shiloh Cabinetry is produced in Dudley, Missouri.

Dutch Made Cabinetry is produced in Grabill, Indiana.

The best place to see all of these products is our 7000 square foot showroom in Fairfax, VA. With over 30 displays, we show our cabinetry lines in a wide variety of woods and finishes. We also have a large sample room to view countless combinations of door style and finish options. While it is impossible to show every combination, we have quite a collection of samples showing the more popular combinations.

Every project varies, depending on the room size, the scope of work, etc. The best way to get a realistic price is to visit our showroom and meet with one of our designers. After reviewing your space (which may require a site visit) and cabinet selections, we can provide you with a realistic budget price.

We work with our logistics partner when delivering cabinets. Our service team will handle the entire process, from scheduling to checking off the cabinets on site as they are being delivered. We keep you updated throughout the process.

Most of our work is with builders, contractors, architects, and interior designers,  but we also work directly with homeowners. If you already have a contractor, we will work with them, and if you need someone to do the work, we can provide you with a list of people to contact that we have worked with in the past. 

Yes, we provide detailed plans with layouts and elevations of each project and detailed notes. If your contractor has a question, we are here to help.
